This course is a primary introduction to university level calculus. The topics of study include analytic geometry,
limits, differentiation and integration of algebraic and transcendental functions. Emphasis is placed on
calculus applications. Analytical reading and problem solving are required for success in this course. This
course is intended for the transfer student planning to major in mathematics, computer science, physics,
chemistry, engineering, or economics. Associate Degree Credit & transfer to CSU and/or private colleges and
universities. UC Transfer Course List: Mathematics (MATH) 121 and 150 combined: maximum credit, one
course. (CAN MATH 18) (CAN MATH SEQ B = MATH 150 + 151) (CAN MATH SEQ C = MATH 150 + 151 + 252).
